On Sunday we decided to take a walk in a beautiful place called Altopiano di Asiago.
Altopiano di Asiago is a group of seven little town lain on a 1000m upland in the north of Vicenza. During the winter, this place is full of tourist that love pure air, wonderful landscapes and the peace of this magic land.
As you can see in the pictures we took a walk absolutely perfect for families: from the centre of Asiago we went to Lumera Lake. Lumera is a (very) little lake close to Asiago centre. The footpath was magic! The snowed smooth hills on the left accompanied our walk. Our eyes could relax watching distant landscapes and the silence of that place has been what we needed after an intense working week!
After 10 min walking we arrived to the lake, completely iced 🙂
Ok, let’s go to see the little district in front of us, a little walk on the hill. That group of tipical wood houses, aroud a old small church, made we feel peacefull and relaxed.
The temperature was 0°C (32°F) and the sun was going behind the mountains, time to come back to Asiago centre to have a hot tisane and a slice of cake in a tipical wooden cafe.
